Microsoft Selling Refurbished Surface Pro 4 with 1-Year Warranty

We know that the Surface Pro 5 may not be announced at Microsoft’s October 26 event tomorrow in New York, but since we’ve been following the Surface line for some time now, we thought “Hey, why not get a Microsoft-refurbished Surface Pro 4 now, save some money and wait on the Pro 5 when they launch it.”

Microsoft offers some great deals on refurbished Surface Products: here’s what they’re offering for the Surface Pro 4.

Refurbished Surface Pro 4 at the Microsoft Store Online

Microsoft sells refurbished Surface Pro 4s for about $639, and it comes with the Surface Pen, an Intel Core m3 i5 processor and Windows 10 Pro OS. That’s for the base 128GB 4GB RAM model, and it goes all the way up to $1,869 for the 512GB 16GB RAM variant that comes with Intel Core i7.

That’s not a bad deal because all these refurbished devices come with a one-year manufacturer’s limited hardware warranty. The base model, for example, is about $250 cheaper than you’d pay for a new one.

If you’re keen to try out a Surface Pro 4 hybrid tablet, this is probably the better way to go about it. A while ago you could actually get cash back or a voucher if you had an old MacBook Pro or even iPad to trade in, but unfortunately they’ve recently removed that offer from their site.

But you can get a refurbished Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro 3 or even a Surface Book on their online store right now. Here’s the link for the purchase page of the refurbished Surface Pro 4:

If you look right at the top of the page, you’ll see a countdown timer on a blue banner right across the top. That’s Microsoft advertising their October 26 event in New York, where we’re hoping to see the brand new All-In-One Surface PC being unveiled.

You can also watch the live event online at BetaNews starting at 10 am Eastern on October 26, and here’s the link for that:
