New Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 Revealed Ahead of CES 2017

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid for 2017

Nearly all the major electronics makers in the world have started unveiling their 2017 creations ahead of CES 2017, and Dell is certainly no slacker. The PC and smartphone maker today put up a webpage teasing consumers with the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 hybrid device.

The Dell XPS 13 itself is an iconic line of notebook PCs that are known for their near-bezel-less display and powerful performance metrics. The company presumably wants to keep the momentum going because they’re coming up with another refresh for 2017. The updated 2016 version brought some additional features such as the Kaby Lake 7th Generation processor from Intel, an extended battery life and even a new Rose Gold color option.

This year, the specs aren’t out yet, but the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 looks something like this:

You have to remember, the Dell XPS is essentially a laptop rather than a hybrid tablet, but Dell seems to want to reach over the line and grab some market share from comparable products like the Lenovo Yoga and HP Spectre x360.

The new form factor change is obvious, but we don’t yet know what’s on the inside. Hopefully, that will be revealed this week at CES 2017 when some of the most well-known device manufacturers will unveil their plans and products for 2017.

This is an early look, but it’s what we’ll expect to see hitting the shelves very soon.
