Evan Blass Leaks Samsung Galaxy S8 Photo: iPhone 8 Rival Revealed?

Samsung Galaxy S8 photo leaked

Evan Blass, who has leaked several accurate pieces of information about smartphone launches in the past, has tweeted an official-looking photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8 that’s releasing later this month – on March 29, 2017 – to the world.

As you can see, the image brings to the front all previous leaks – about the slim bezel design, the curved AMOLED screen, the missing physical home button and even the missing Samsung branding on the front (that will apparently appear on the Always On Display, or AOD).

We don’t know at this point what model Blass has posted a picture of, but we do know of 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display variants. We also know about Bixby, the smart voice assistant that’s going to be featured on the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

More details of specs are yet to come, but the possibility of an Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor under the hood seems authentic, along with 4GB RAM and storage options starting at 64GB. Camera sensors will be 12MP on the rear and 8MP on the selfie camera.

We’re also looking forward to see how many elements it has in common with the upcoming iPhone 8 – or, at least, what we know about it so far. The edge-to-edge display is likely to be one of those things, but we’re yet to see what other similarities these two flagship phones will have it store for us in 2017.
