There’s no doubt that Amazon Alexa has a lot of skills—more than 10,000, to be precise But how can you sort through the massive library of Alexa skills to find the ones that are actually useful?
Most users repeat a few standard skills frequently: asking about the weather, playing music, setting timers, and adding to your shopping list are a few common Alexa commands that are easy to remember. Beyond these skills, it can be difficult to remember what else is available. You can’t exactly sit down and memorize all 10,000 skills.

Of course, this isn’t a complete list. A few of my favorite skills not listed are productivity skills like scheduling appointments and sending emails. I would also add messaging tasks to the list, since you can use Amazon Alexa to text your contacts.
