With over 2 million apps on the Apple App Store, it’s often hard to decide what you need. If you’re not careful you could end up overspending on apps that sound great in the description and the screenshots but will end up never being used.

ACDSee Pro – Camera App
You’ve probably heard of this one. It’s basically a camera app that lets you capture photos, enhance images, create collages and share them with your friends. Works with iOS 8.1 or higher, and is compatible with iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch.
It’s got a bunch of cool capture features like separate exposure and focus points, horizontal level (in case you’re at the bar, I presume), 6X digital zoom, special presets, multiple flash options and a wide range of editing options including what they call “non-destructive editing”, which I’m assuming means you can still retain the original when you edit a photo.
Normally available for $6.99, it’s yours for free this weekend if you want it.
Bext Mail – Multi-Account Email Client
If you’ve never used Bext Mail, you should. You’ll never need another email app ever again. It can handle multiple accounts from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail and several other email clients.
My favorite features on this are the AES encryption and an auto-erase function that keeps your data safe even if your iPhone is stolen or lost. But just to note, auto-erase is a paid in-app purchase that will cost you $9.99. Still, you’ve got options like VIP tagging so your boss’s or client’s emails are clearly labeled.
The original price is $49.99 but it can be yours for free today.
Mic’d – Voice Recorder for Apple Watch and all iOS 8.0 Devices and Higher
This one’s truly one of the cleanest app interfaces I’ve seen in a while. It has been designed with the Apple Watch in mind so the look is very minimal, but the app itself is quite impressive.
Sells for $1.99 but free as of today. Could be a limited-time deal so get it now.
