Free Today: Minecraft: Story Mode and Other Premium Apps for iPhone/iPad

premium paid iPhone apps for free - today only

From time to time we browse through Apple’s massive App Store collection to see if there are any premium apps available for free for a limited time. This time we found some real gems, like ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ and several others that we hope you’ll find useful – and fun!

Best Premium Apps Now Free on App Store

Minecraft: Story Mode

This app normally costs $4.99 but is available for free as on October 18. We’re not sure how long it will be free so if you love Minecraft you should get it right now while it’s still free. The app supports all devices that are on iOS 7.1 or higher.

Here’s an excerpt from the description:

“In this five part episodic series, you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.”

iMySystem – Memory Status Analyzer

If you’re always fussing about not enough memory on your iOS device, here’s a great app that you can get for free today. It’s normally priced at 99 cents, but completely free as of today.

The app has over 150 data items showing you the state of your device’s memory, what types of files are using the most and so on. It’s very useful if you’re facing a memory crunch and you want to know what files to move to iCloud.

Timebox Photo Journal

This app costs $3.99 but it’s free as of today. I think this is one of the coolest apps I’ve seen in a while. It automatically creates a daily journal using your photos, videos and calendar and lays it out in the form of stories on a daily timeline.

The app works on iOS 9.0 or later versions, so older iPhones and iPads may not support this. But if it does, it’s a great way to organize your photos and videos chronologically.

Device Finder

This one’s easily one of the most useful apps for people who leave their gadgets lying around the house or elsewhere. In five minutes you can set up the app, link all of your devices via Bluetooth and then rest easy that you’ll never be hunting for your Apple Watch or AirPods ever again. Also works on non-Apple devices that support Bluetooth.

Sells for $5.99 but free right now, and it supports iOS 8.0 or later.

Musify

By far one of the best music player premium apps I’ve seen, Musify aggregates content from YouTube and SoundCloud and delivers it to you in HiFi quality. Definitely worth the $6.99 it normally sells for, but you can download it for free today.

The app claims to be “the world’s first free music player with High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music, audiobooks, lectures, comedy and more.”
