You probably know that Apple has been selling refurbished Mac and iPad units for a long time, but as of today November 8, 2016, Apple has started offering refurbished iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus pieces as well. Refurbished generally means devices that have been used and handed in for some reason or other, or the stock has been sitting unsold until now. But all of them are covered by Apple’s 1-year warranty, in case you were wondering.
Until now, Apple has never offered such deals online on its flagship product, but as of today you can save quite a bit of money and get an “almost new” iPhone. You won’t find these models at physical Apple stores since they upgraded the memory on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, so this is your only chance of getting your hands on one of these.

Refurbished iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
Refurbished iPhone 6S 16GB is now selling for $449; iPhone 6S Plus 16GB is selling for $529.
Refurbished iPhone 6S Plus 64GB is up for $589.
As mentioned, you won’t be able to buy these new since the memory upgrades, but these are the options for the latest available versions of new iPhones.

In addition to the warranty, you can also get on the AppleCare plan for an extra $129 during the checkout process.
It’s a great way to save at least a hundred bucks if you’re not too keen on getting on the latest model. The iPhone 6S range is a solid phone that can be upgraded to the latest iOS 10.1.1 – or even iOS 10.2 beta if you’re part of the Apple Beta Program.
