Samsung’s new promotional offer for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus – Buy one, get one (BOGO).
Though the time frame isn’t mentioned, it looks like the deal is for a limited period of time, or until stocks last. So if you are looking to upgrade your device to Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus with a trade-in – hurry up!
BOGO deal – You can buy a Galaxy S8 at its listed price, and the second Galaxy S8 will come free with a trade-in. The offer can be availed only through Samsung’s e-commerce website or Samsung’s “Shop Samsung App”. The offer is not available in any store for walk-in customers.
The first device is to be paid for at the original price, and an additional device should qualify for trade-in to avail the offer.
How it Works
On the purchase of the first device at retail price with trade-in, Samsung will issue a credit to cover the cost of the second device. If you choose to upgrade the second device to Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, an additional $100 has to be paid after the trade-in.
The trade-in device must be in good working condition without any cracks or obvious blemishes. The devices eligible to be traded in are Galaxy Note, Galaxy S6, S6 edge and S6 edge plus, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, iPhone 6s, 6sPlus and iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. It also applies to the T-Mobile versions of the Galaxy S8 and S8 plus.
The BOGO offer does not allow buyers to mix and match carrier models. It is very clear that if the first device is a Verizon model, then the second device by default will be another Verizon model. However, you can mix and match between the S8 and S8 Plus by paying the difference. For example, if you buy a Galaxy S8 and choose to take Galaxy S8 Plus as the second device, then you be paying the difference amount on the Galaxy S8 Plus, or $100.
