Apple Pay Cash, a new feature addition to Apple’s digital wallet, is now available on the beta versions of iOS 11.2 and Apple Watch’s watchOS 4.2. Using the feature, Apple users on devices with the beta versions installed will be able to send and receive payments over iMessage. They will also be able to use the new Apple Pay Cash virtual debit card for purchases at merchant establishments.

As of now the Apple Pay Cash feature is only available to users in the United States, and the user must have Apple Pay set up on the device. Once iOS 11.2 and watchOS 4.2 rollout to the general public, the following devices will be able to access the new wallet service.

iPhone SE, iPhone 6 or later, iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation), iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 or later, and Apple Watch.

To use Apple Pay Cash on iMessage, the recipient must also have the beta versions of iOS 11.2 or watchOS 4.2 installed, and upgrade to the full version once it is released.
