If you had £449.99 to drop on a gaming console this November, would you rather spend it on an Xbox One X with no games but 4K support, or would you prefer a Sony PS4 Pro bundle with “five exclusive adventures”?
That’s the question Sony is likely hoping that UK gamers will ask themselves as it launches a console and game bundle at the exact same price that the Xbox One X is retailing for: £449.99.

The PS4 Pro bundle, called “Only on PlayStation”, contains the following, as listed on Game.co.uk:
“PS4 Pro 1TB with GT Sport Limited Edition + Uncharted: The Lost Legacy + Horizon Zero Dawn + Frozen Wilds DLC and WipEout Omega.”
The only problem is, the bundle is currently out of stock, as of this writing. Game stores may have some units, but according to the site, prices at stores may vary. But if you go through to the page, you’ll several other options that are in stock. Also, you can order online and pick it up at the store, if you’re lucky enough to catch the PS4 Pro bundle when new stock arrives.
The Only on PlayStation PS4 Pro bundle is also being advertised on an official PlayStation page (UK version), but isn’t available for sale on the site. The link on the “Buy Now” button redirects to Game’s online page linked near the top of this article.
Microsoft has seen strong demand for the Xbox One X console that was officially released yesterday, so unless you’ve already pre-ordered one, it could be a long wait. By introducing the new Only on PlayStation PS4 Pro bundle, Sony could be trying to cash in on potential supply constraints at Microsoft’s gaming division.
