Allow Full Travel Ban to be enforced, White House asks U.S. Supreme Court

The Trump administration asked the highest court in the land on Monday to allow full implementation of the new travel ban that was announced on September 24.

The new ban, which succeeded two others before it, was ruled on by a California appeals court last week, where only parts of it were allowed to be enforced.

The White House has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court saying that the new ban “is based on national-security and foreign-affairs objectives, not religious animus” because they differed from the previous versions “both in process and in substance.”

Federal courts prevented the earlier bans, deeming them unconstitutional. Will this one get through?
