The swift reckoning of sexual harassment, misconduct and other allegations sweeping across the nation have further intensified, this time with Matt Lauer, former NBC News anchor for the hugely popular Today news program.
At least three women have now come forward with accusations against Matt Lauer, who was fired yesterday morning from NBC News after an internal company review.
Two more reports came in later in the day, one of them from an unnamed ex-employee.
She said Lauer called her into his office, locked the door and sexually assaulted her. The incident happened in 2001, she told The New York Times.
