Apple has officially released iOS 11.2 to all eligible Apple devices, including iPhone and iPad.
The update brings Apple Pay Cash as a new addition to the Apple Pay platform, 7.5-watt wireless charging capability for hard-ware capable devices and fixes a nasty bug that would send devices into a soft reset loop, making them barely usable.
The release appears to have come early to address the recently-reported “date bug” that makes springboard crash, leading to the reset loop.
Apple has encouraged users who face the problem to quickly update their software to iOS 11.2.
