Sarah Palin’s oldest son arrested for alleged domestic violence

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s eldest son, Track Palin, was arraigned earlier today on charges related to domestic violence, including felony burglary, assault in the fourth and criminal mischief.

Online court records show that the alleged incidents leading to the charges occurred on Saturday.

Track Palin was arrested last year in January, and charged with acts of domestic violence in that instance.

An attorney for Todd and Sarah Palin said on behalf of the Palins that the couple were unable to comment on the incidents of this weekend.

At the time of the 2016 arrest Sarah Palin said that her son’s behavior rose from his tour of Iraq, where he was deployed for a year, suggesting that Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder was the cause of the incidents leading to the arrest.

Last year the prosecution dismissed two charges, and Track Palin pled guilty to a charge of misconduct involving weapons.

Sarah Palin ran for Vice President under the GOP ticket in 2008 alongside Sen. John McCain.
