Autopsy on Las Vegas Mandalay Bay shooter Stephen Paddock rules it a suicide

Autopsy results on victims and attacker of the October 2017 mass shooting from the Mandalay Bay hotel have been released.

The results show that all 58 victims died of gunshot wounds, and that no one died as a result of the ensuing stampede as people attending the country music festival panicked to get out of the venue.

The autopsy on Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas shooter, shows that his death was a suicide resulting from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Paddock reportedly shot himself in the mouth.

Clark County, Nevada coroner John Fudenberg told The Associated Press that he waited to release the autopsy findings until all the victims’ families were first informed.
