See What Google has Done to Gmail, How to Try the New Gmail

Google is rolling out a major design update to its Gmail utility to 1.4 billion users around the world. A lot of features, like TFA (two-factor authentication), confidential mode and email expiration dates are being seen.

How to get the new Gmail on your system

You should already be able to see the option to try the new Gmail. On the gear icon in Gmail, you’ll see “Try the New Gmail”

G Suite users will be able to get their admins to give them access, as shown in the screengrab below:

If you don’t see the option right away don’t be disheartened; it’s not easy rolling something out to 1.4 billion people. Just keep refreshing your Gmail app and it should show up soon.
