iPhone X Plus to come with a triple camera setup

Apple iPhone is one of the most anticipated phones on the market. Every year, Apple launches new iPhone models, with a lot of new features and skills. Last year, Apple celebrated the 10th birthday of its iPhone by announcing three iPhone models, including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.

We have heard a lot of rumors regarding Apple’s 2018 iPhone models. Most rumors say that the Cupertino company will announce three new iPhone models at this year’s September event. This includes a 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus that will replace the current iPhone X.

The upcoming 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus will come with a lot of premium features and components. Therefore, it won’t come cheap at launch. Some reliable sources claim that the iPhone X Plus will include a triple camera setup, making it the first iPhone model with three rear cameras.

This goes against what we heard in previous rumors that Apple would adopt a triple camera design on 2019 models. It seems the new design will arrive sooner than expected. If this is the case, a triple camera system will act as a selling point of this year’s iPhone.

Apple is facing an intense competition on the market. Samsung is selling hundreds of millions of smartphone units every year. Rumors say that Samsung will include a triple camera setup on the Galaxy S10 in 2019. Samsung-branded phones are pretty reliable when it comes to camera performance.

Apple is expected to launch a cheaper iPhone this year. The device will come with a 6.1-inch display and retains the LCD display. Some recent reports say that the 6.1-inch model will be pushed back to November due to display issues. Besides, all three models will feature Face ID and support TrueDepth camera technology at launch. The coolest part is that the 6.1-inch device will offer a dual-sim functionality.

At this year’s WWDC, Apple is expected to unveil the second generation iPhone SE. The SE 2 will feature the LCD display panel and take some design hints from the iPhone X. Under the hood, the SE 2 will be powered by A10 chipset with 2GB of RAM.
