Apple Maps transit data launches in Buffalo, New York

Apple Maps is one of the best mapping services on the market. Apple has been improving its mapping service since the launch day in an attempt to take on other rivals out there. Back in the old days, Apple Maps was a disaster with lack of important features. However, Apple Maps has changed so much since then, and it is finally at a point where we can ignore Google Maps.

One of the best features when it comes to Apple Maps lies in transit information. Apple has been slowly expanding transit data support to more markets. Earlier this month, Apple brought transit info to more regions in the US, like North Carolina and more areas in California.

With transit information support, users will be able to take advantage of the public transport system to navigate the cities. According to Apple, Apple Maps now supports a wide range of public transport agencies like the LYNX trains, CATS buses, and GoTransit bus routes in California.

Apple today confirmed that the company officially brings support for Transit information to Buffalo, New York. Apple says that users will be able to access the metro area in the area. This allows for better navigation using public transport system like trains or buses.

Apple Maps transit data feature was first introduced in iOS 9, and the Cupertino company has been expanding its availability to more cities in the world. In reality, the feature is not something new out there as it has been an essential part of Google Maps for a long time. It seems that Apple does not want to get left behind in the fight.

Last year, Apple brought support for Apple Maps transit data to a wide range of cities in the world, like Paris, Brazil, Scotland, or many more. The feature was initially available in a limited number of cities, including Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and even more.

Apple is expected to add Apple Maps transit data feature to more markets this year to attract more users. Apple Maps is now available in a lot of cities and regions worldwide and serves as a tough rival that challenges Google Maps.
