New iPad Pro models will lack 3.5 mm headphone jack and include smaller bezels

Apple iPad is among the best tablets on the market. Apple has been improving its tablet lineup since the launch day to offer a better user interface. However, Apple’s iPad series has not seen a significant design change in recent years. That does not mean Apple iPad is not worth your time.

Back in 2015, Apple announced the iPad Pro, with a huge improvement over its siblings. The release of the iPad Pro aims to replace the traditional laptop on the market. However, it seems that Apple still has a lot of work to do to make it possible.

In reality, the iPad Pro receives a wide welcome from users and tech experts worldwide. In 2017, Apple unveiled the second generation iPad Pro with a lot of improvements over its first model. The 2nd gen iPad Pro is powered by the A10X Fusion processor under the hood.

Apple is expected to launch a new iPad Pro this year. We have heard a lot of rumors and reports regarding the next iPad Pro. Most rumors claim that Apple will release the 2nd gen 10.5 inch iPad Pro and the 3rd gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro. However, it remains unknown when we are seeing new devices.

Tech experts say that the new iPad Pro models will make their debut next year. This makes sense as Apple is focusing on new iPhone models this year. Sources say that Apple does not have enough resources to produce multiple devices at the same time. Back in March 2018, Apple announced a new 9.7 inch iPad which targets students and schools.

According to reports, this year’s iPad Pro models will not come with the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack. Apple officially ditched 3.5 mm headphone jack back in 2016 with the introduction of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

New iPad Pro models may come with smaller bezels and Face ID. Apple will remove the traditional Touch ID on its iPad lineup. Besides, Apple will be repositioning the Smart Connector to the lower rear of the device. There is not much to tell about the under-the-hood specifications. Let’s wait and see.
