Apple removes Group FaceTime from iOS 12, Says Apple

Apple iOS is getting better and smarter every year when Apple releases new software updates. Apple has been improving its own mobile operating system since the day one in an attempt to take on Google Android on the market. At this year’s WWDC event, Apple announced iOS 12, the next version of its mobile OS after months of leaks and rumors.

In reality, iOS 12 is not a significant upgrade over its predecessors. However, it comes with a lot of new changes and skills we have been expecting from Apple for years, ranging from screen time and grouped notifications to new animoji and group FaceTime. Apple has started rolling out the public beta of iOS 12 for testing purposes, but Apple still has a lot of work to do to improve it.

Group FaceTime is among the biggest additions to iOS 12. This is something Apple fans have been expecting to see for years. With iOS 12, users will be able to join a FaceTime session that includes up to 32 people. Their video windows will get larger when they are speaking during the conversation.

Apple’s move to add Group FaceTime to iOS 12 has been met with a wide welcome from users and tech experts worldwide. However, it seems that Apple needs more time to work on it. Apple today claimed that Group FaceTime has been removed from the release of iOS 2 and the company will add it to future iOS 12 update.

The reason behind this delay remains unknown. However, sources claim that the feature is not fully ready at launch. The Cupertino company wants to make sure everything runs smoothly this year.

This is not the first time we are seeing Apple delay its products or features. Last year, Apple pushed back the release date of iPhone X to November due to supply issues. The Cupertino company also delayed the release of its smart speaker, HomePod to February 2018. Besides, there is no mention of the release date of its AirPower wireless charging mat.

According to the latest sources, Apple will delay the release of its 6.1 inch iPhone model to October as the company is having issues with notch display.
