2019 iPhone models won’t not include 3D Touch, Say Sources

Apple iPhone has changed so much since the launch day. Back in 2014, Apple announced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which marked the first iPhone models with bigger screens and aluminum design. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus set a record as Apple sold more than 10 million units after 3 days of availability.

Last year, the Cupertino company announced iPhone X to celebrate the 10th birthday of its iPhone models. The iPhone X is the most expensive iPhone we have ever seen on the market as it carries a $999 price tag. However, the X remains the most popular iPhone model out there, with 16 million units shipped during the first quarter of the year.

Apple is expected to announce new iPhone models at its September event. This means that we are now so close to the unveiling event. In reality, Apple has its tradition of debuting new iPhone models in September. However, Apple has not specified when we are seeing new iPhone models.

Last week, sources claimed that Apple would debut new iPhones on September 12. Back in 2016, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 were announced on the same day in California. According to experts, this year’s event will take place at Steve Jobs Theater, with the keynote beginning at 10 am.

According to sources, pre-orders for the next iPhone models will begin on September 14, two days after the unveiling event. According to recent reports, Apple will start sending out invites for its iPhone launch event next week.

Some reliable sources say that 2019 iPhone models will not feature 3D at launch. For some background, 3D Touch is Apple’s pressure-sensitive feature that was first introduced alongside iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. In reality, 3D Touch was met with a wide welcome, with praise directed at Apple’s ability to create an innovative feature.

It remains unknown why Apple is planning to remove it from its iPhone lineup. Tech experts claim that Apple is working on a new screen technology for its future iPhone models. If this is the case, this year’s iPhone models will be the last to support 3D Touch.

Apple is expected to announce a cheaper iPhone model at this year’s September event. The upcoming phone will feature a 6.1-inch display, but Apple will use an LCD panel on the device to achieve a lower price tag. Besides, the phone will target emerging markets and has been put in mass production at facilities in India.

Apart from the new iPhone models, Apple is expected to announce the new MacBook Pro models and iPad Pro. Back in July, Apple debuted new MacBook Pro models with Coffee Lake processors and new Retina display. However, we are expecting to see a new MacBook Air this year.

In reality, Apple’s MacBook Air lineup has not seen a major hardware upgrade since 2015. This raises concerns among the community about the chances of Apple discontinuing the Air. Sources say that Apple has been working on a new MacBook Air model with Retina display.
