Apple Watch Series 4 will be compatible with all current straps and bands

Apple Watch is among the best smartwatches on the market. Back in 2015, Apple first announced its smartwatch lineup to the world after months of leaks and rumors. Apple Watch quickly gained popularity among users and experts worldwide with more than 4 million unit shipped in the second quarter of 2015.

In 2016, the Apple Watch Series 2 followed the huge success of the original device. The Series 1 was among the most wanted wearables on the market. The key behind Apple Watch’s strong sales performance lies in its premium design and optimized watchOS operating system.

watchOS has been through a lot of major software updates since the launch day. At this year’s WWDC event, watchOS 5 took the center stage, with a lot of new things and changes. However, watchOS 5 marks the first time Apple has ended support for an Apple Watch. Specifically, the Apple Watch Series 1 will not get the update for reasons still unknown.

Tech experts say that Apple needs to make sure that watchOS 5 will slow down the performance on older models. Therefore, Apple wants to make sure that it runs smoothly at launch. However, this comes as a surprise as the upcoming iOS 12 supports iPhone 5s or newer.

Apple is expected to debut the fourth generation Apple Watch at this year’s September event. In reality, Apple’s fall event belongs to new iPhone models, but we are expecting to see something new from Apple this year. In reality, Apple was previously believed to announce new Apple Watch model at this year’s WWDC, but it skipped the event.

We have heard a lot of rumors regarding Apple’s next-generation Apple Watch. Sources say that the device will come with an edge-to-edge display at launch, better battery, and smaller bezels. Tech experts claim that all of this year’s Apple Watch models will include support for LTE functionality at launch.

According to the latest reports, Apple Watch with LTE connectivity now dominates the market. In the first quarter of the year, Apple shipped more than 5 million smartwatches, helping the company grab 60 percent market share out there.

Some reports today claim that the upcoming Apple Watch 4 will be compatible with all current straps and bands. Tech experts say that Apple will add more straps and bands to its new smartwatch this year. If you are a big fan of a current band or strap, then you can use it with your new Apple Watch this year.

Apart from the new iPhone models and Apple Watch, Apple is expected to announce new MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models at its annual September event. Last month, Apple released a refresh to its MacBook Pro models with Coffee Lake processors and much-improved Touch Bar.

However, we are expecting to see the unveiling of a new MacBook Air this year. The Air lineup has not seen a major internal upgrade for three years. Earlier this year, rumors claimed that Apple would discontinue the Air lineup, instead, work on a new MacBook lineup.
