Apple now dominates the smartwatch market with millions of units sold every quarter. Last year, the Apple Watch Series 4 released to the public following the unveiling event and received a wide welcome. Series 4 is a huge upgrade over its predecessors with a bigger screen, a redesigned digital crown, and health features.

One of the best things when it comes to Apple Watch is that it works perfectly with your iPhone. Indeed, you can transfer your calls, messages, or emails from your Watch to an iPhone. This can be done without the need for a third-party app to be installed on your device.

However, the process may be unknown to many users out there. Don’t worry, we have you covered. In the section below, we are going to show you how to transfer messages, phone calls, or emails from your Apple Watch to your iPhone. Before we proceed, we recommend you update your Watch and iPhone.

1. How to transfer a call from your Apple Watch to an iPhone

Step one: When you receive a call on your Apple Watch, simply scroll down using the Digital Crown until you see the Answer on iPhone button

Step two: Now just simply hit the button and then the call will be directed to your iPhone

Step three: Pick up your iPhone and answer the call. If you have already answered the phone call on your Apple Watch, then hit the time at the top to transfer the call to your iOS device.

Note that if your iPhone is now locked, then hit the phone icon at the top left corner and pick up your iPhone.

2. How to transfer messages from Apple Watch to iPhone

You can quickly transfer messages from your smartwatch to your iPhone. If you have got any issues, then make sure you update your devices.

Step one: Fire up the Messages app on your Apple Watch and then select a messaging thread you wish to reply to

Step two: Open the thread on your iPhone and then enable App Switcher on your iPhone. Note that the method used to turn on App Switcher on your iPhone X or newer is slightly different from past models

Step three: From here, tap on the Handoff to complete the task.
