Apple reportedly teams up with Simple Mac to conduct authorized iPhone repairs

Apple iPhone is among the most desired phones on the market. iPhone models have changed so much since the launch day, with new display technology, new features, and stunning design. One of the best things when it comes to Apple devices lies in its high level of performance stability.

Last year, Apple announced three new iPhone models, including iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone X marks Apple’s first steps into the OLED display market. With the X, Apple has some daring changes like the removal of the physical buttons, the adoption of Face ID, or new navigation system.

The iPhone X is the most expensive Apple has ever released to the public as it costs $999 for the basic model. Owning a new iPhone model with premium components is pretty exciting, but having an iPhone with a broken screen could be a nightmare. In reality, there are tons of third-party resellers that are willing to offer some kind of repair option for your iPhone.

However, keep in mind that there are a lot of scams out there to take your money. Simply Mac is one of the best resellers that conduct iPhone repairs on the market. Simply Mac receives positive reviews from users out there. In reality, most iPhone repair services out there are not authorized by Apple. However, things have changed.

According to the latest reports, Apple has secured a deal with the Simply Mac to conduct authorized iPhone repairs at its stores. Simply Mac now has around 50 stores across the US and the number’s set to grow in the coming months.

Tech experts say that Simply Mac will open more stores in the US in an attempt to attract more customers. They also claim that Apple will invest a lot of money in Simply Mac to bring its iPhone repairing service to more customers in the future.

Sources say that Touch ID-enabled iPhone models are difficult to repair because this requires special equipment from Apple’s suppliers. Apple wants to make sure that Simply Mac can use authentic components to work on the repairs at its stores.

In reality, Apple is now offering its own iPhone repairing service. However, the company needs more support from third-party reseller to bring the service to more areas in the US. Apple now charges $169 for a screen replacement on all iPhone 8 Plus models, which is pretty expensive. The iPhone X with a broken screen will cost you more than $250 for the replacement service.

Earlier this year, Apple admitted that the company was deliberately slowing down iPhone models due to aging batteries. Two weeks later, Apple offered a battery replacement program for infected iPhone models for only $29 at its retail stores.

With iOS 11.3, the company also added a new battery feature that allows users to check if their batteries need to be replaced. Sources say that Apple has been working on a battery technology for future iPhone models. However, it remains unknown when we are seeing them.
