Xbox One users can now use the Beam feature from Windows 10 Creators Update to watch livestreamed gaming events. One of the more popular ones on Xbox Live is the ForzaMotorsport channel, which is hosting the Forza Racing Championship New York Invitational on April 15 and 16. The livestream event begins broadcasting live via Beam at 1PM ET.

The Forza event promises some sizzling track action as pros like 2-time ForzaRC champion ‘Laige’, Season 2 Runnerup ‘Lightning’ and Season 1 overall third placed ‘box’ battle it out at Watkins Glen.
The event is presented by Porsche, which has recently signed a six-year deal with Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios to “collaborate on a suite of co-branded initiatives for Porsche and the Forza franchise.” The collaboration begins with the release of the Forza Horizon 3 Porsche Car Pack, which features the classics as well as contemporary models: from the 1960 718 RS 60 to modern-day vehicles like the 2016 911 GT3 RS, the 2016 Cayman GT4, the recently launched 2017 Panamera.
The ForzaRC for this season features 18 players from around the world competing for $25,000 in cash, as well as a Drift competition between the top two drifters. There’s also going to be a guest appearance by Matt Campbell, Porsche professional driver.
You can watch the livestreamed event on Beam on your Xbox One running Windows 10 Creators Update, Twitch or YouTube, and guests will be given a chance to race Campbell and the ForzaRC Elite drives.
Remember, the event begins on April 15 at 1pm ET, and will air live again on April 16 at the same time.
