Two Just-launched ASUS ZenBook Models for 2017 You Really Have to See

ZenBook Flip S from ASUS

Tonight, at Computex 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan, ASUS released some stunning laptops for 2017. Of these releases, two ZenBook Models stand out as must-see devices, especially if you’re planning a purchase any time this year.

The first of these is the ASUS ZenBook Flip S. Available later this year at a starting price of $1,099, the 10.9 mm thin Flip S comes with a 360-degree angle on the monitor, a 4K option, touchscreen, variants with seventh-generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor and 1TB PCIe SSD and a new cooling system. The Zenbook Flip S is also said to sport “smallest-ever laptop fingerprint sensors.”

What’s striking about the ZenBook Flip S – and some of their other models this year – are the color tones they’ve used for the beautiful spun metal finish. They’ve done a great job in one of the most important areas – first impressions. This is the follow-up to the Asus ZenBook Flip UX360.

Another important release is the ASUS ZenBook Pro, which will retail starting at $1,299 later this year. This Windows 10 laptop is 18.9 mm thin, and sports a 15.6-inch 4K display with quad-speaker Harmon Kardon audio. Powered by a seventh-gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor, gaming-grade Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics, and a 1TB PCIe x4 SSD and 16GB DDR4 RAM, this stunning laptop boasts 14 hours of battery life. That’s 30 minutes more than what the new Surface Pro from Microsoft delivers.

  • VivoBook S15 – budget laptop starting at $499
  • VivoBook Pro 15 – mid-range device starting at $799
  • Asus Blue Cave – a smart WiFi router with IoT device security monitoring via a smartphone app

There are some really solid devices from ASUS this year, and all of them should become available later this year. ASUS did not give out any release dates at Computex.
