That’s a small drop in the ocean when compared to its chief rivals BMW, Mercedes Benz (Daimler Group) and Audi (VW Group).

The BMW group operates 30 production and assembly facilities in 14 countries and has a global sales network in more than 140 countries.

Daimler sells its vehicles in nearly all the countries of the world and has production facilities in Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

Tesla is yet to step into South America and Africa.
