Apple Pay set to launch in Germany

Apple Pay is among the most used mobile payment services on the market. Apple Pay was first debuted back in 2014 and quickly gained its trust out there. One of the best things when it comes to Apple’s payment service is that it does not require Apple Pay-specific contactless terminals. That means that you can use your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch to make purchases at any retailers who support Apple’s mobile payment service.

Apple is facing a lot of competition in the market, which gives the company a driving reason to improve its payment service. The Cupertino company has been gradually expanding Apple Pay in recent years. Last month, Apple launched its payment service in Poland and Norway, allowing users to make payments using their Apple devices.

Apple’s mobile payment service is expected to mark its steps in more markets this year. Apple confirmed that it will launch Apple Pay in Germany this year. However, the company has not specified when it is released.

The Cupertino company has just announced its Q3 earnings report, which suggests a possible release of Apple Pay in Germany this year. Tech experts claim that Apple has been in talks with local banks and financial institutions to bring Apple Pay to the country this year. According to Apple, its mobile payment service will hit gas stations and a wide range of convenience stores in the US. Besides, Apple will continue to expand its payment service to more regions and cities in the US and other European markets.

We are seeing an intense competition in the payment service market. Samsung Pay is expanding to more markets out there. Samsung’s payment service is now available in nearly 30 countries in the world.
