However, sources claim that Apple will hold its traditional fall event on September 12, with the keynote kicking off at 10 A.M at the Steve Jobs Theater. Last year, September 12 was also applied to iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus.
According to the latest reports, three new iPhone models will be debuted later next month as Apple needs more time to work on new smartphones. The reason behind this decision is that Apple will launch two OLED-enabled iPhone models this year, so the company needs more suppliers.

Specifically, Apple will ship more than 20 million iPhone models during the first weeks of availability, beating the record set by the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
Sources claim that Apple suppliers are preparing to ship around 75 million iPhone units by the end of the year. That’s the same volume we heard in last year’s rumors prior to the launch of new iPhone models.
Last year, iPhone X was expected to break Apple’s sales record. However, the device did not have a good start at launch mainly thanks to its high price tag. This year, things will change as Apple will report a strong sales performance.
Apple’s new iPhone models are expected to hit retail stores in September. However, the cheaper iPhone model will not be ready until October. It remains unknown why Apple delays the release of the upcoming device.
